I am a mathematician whose interests range from doing research in mathematics and teaching, to learning languages. Together with Dr. Carlos A. Montufar we have worked mainly on algebraic invariants of graphs and dynamical systems. To look to some of my research please visit my Research section.
Under the supervision of Dr. Ruy Fabila-Monroy, in 2024 I finished a master on science on the speciality of Mathematics, driven by a passion for tackling algorithmic and mathematical challenges with creativity and rigor specialized in the analysis and design of algorithms, aiming to contribute to advancements and efficiency in the fields of computer science, optimization. My master thesis is available here
In 2022, I finished my undergrad studies in physics and math at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City.
You may find my complete resume in the following files:
My academic path has been mostly driven by algebra and their branches to differen areas.
Nonetheless, I strongly believe that knowledge on different areas provides a global perspective, enhancing and enriching mathematics. I do enjoy different knowledge areas on maths and physics which I study in my free time, particularly topics of topology and quantum theory.
My (non-order) favourites math topics are:
Algebric geometry
The abelian sandpile model
Complex Variables
Number Theory
Quantun Mechanics (yes is mostly math)
Combinatorics
Quantum information and quantum computing
Talking about myself, most of my free time is dedicated to exercising. My main sport is swimming followed by calisthenics and, in happy times, jogging.
I love watching movies and TV series. I do believe that Breaking Bad is near to be considered a piece of art. So please talk to me about your favorite movies.
I enjoy knowing about languages and currently I am learning mandarin.
I enjoy dancing salsa. I used to dance Casino (Timba) style from Cuba.
